INSPIRATION SERIES WITH DJ VADIM

When Waterbom announced their line up for this seasons parties there was one name that jumped out at us in the Secret Bali Life office… a man who has been at the forefront of everything that is good about alternative electronic music for 20+ years now… that man is Russian born, UK bred, NYC native and all round underground legend… DJ VADIM!

As a producer and a DJ he crosses all the coolest genres effortlessly from Ska to Jungle, Hip-hop to Trip-Hop he is one of those great artists who if you asked 100 DJ’s, thumbs up or thumbs down… it would be 100 thumbs up each and every time!

Gilles Peterson, Killa Kela, Edie Brickel, DJ Krush, Kentaro, Foreign Beggars, The Herbaliser are just some of the names he has remixed or collaborated with over the years. The guy is a machine and one of the hardest working artists out there which is partly why he has performed over 3000 times in 78 different countries so you best make sure you make the most of the fact he is coming to Bali and playing down at Waterbom sol sessions on Saturday, August 31st alongside DJ Shortkut a numerous West Coast/USA DMC title holder responsible for creating some of the most influential DJ routines of all time!
